Happy Independence Day! 

Driving a truck across the country, through traffic, trying to find a place to rest every eight hours for a rig that is 70 feet long is a very hard job. Not to mention trying to turn around in a tight spot or being routed into an area they cannot possibly get into.

 

 

Remember that when you see those big semis on the road and give them space, it takes them a lot longer to stop and react.

 

 

When they show up at your dock with freight they picked up two days ago, show them kindness and don’t make them wait too long.

 

 

Remember what they have had to deal with in the last two days.

 

 

Also recognize the fact that they are the reason the factories can make the products we need to live and they are also the people that get those final products to the shelves.
